She did have great imagination. I read in the introduction she wrote for Frankenstien, that she got the idea from a dream, and some things in the book point out that the conversation between her husband Percy, and Lord Byron also influenced the book.
If you have ever read Frankenstien, she mentions a character named Biron at one part. A possible influence to Byron.
